As I understand it, this location is under new management . I had breakfast at this Wesley chapel don pan with my wife and we enjoyed it. The service was very good, the place was clean and the breakfast pastries were excellent, they were fresh, crispy and tasty. The coffee and cappuccino were good too. Frankly, we had a good experience, I don't know about the bad reviews on yelp? Maybe they were from the previous owners? I tried the empanadas, sad to say both the chicken and beef were flavorless. I read another review about the pastries being dry and tasteless; they were right, I tried 4 different ones at my home and I had to toss them out. Stick to the flaky pastries. I enjoyed the cheese pastries best of all.

Venezuela in Tampa best cachito with ham and cheese ever like home, the cafe con leche also good, malta polar, frescolita, pan de jamon, tequeños y dulces pasteleros como los de venezuela...

Dropped by yesterday because they were conveniently located in a shopping plaza. Terrible! I purchased 6 different items to go. Everything was not fresh. I understand that they need to do something with leftovers, but please donate it to homeless, don't sell it to paying customers. Chicken empanadas had no flavor whatsoever. Guava Danishes hardly had any guava. I won't be back.

Best Café con Leche and Cuban Sandwich in New Tampa. If in a hurry grab a Ham & Cheese Chachito. Haven't tried the pastries or Venezuelan Arepas yet but will be back.

Get it together don pan. Have tried this bakery on and off for years and they just can't figure it out. They need to actually put filling inside their products. It's okay food in a pinch but unless you like a lot of bread and very little filling I think you'll be as disappointed as me

We were so excited to have our deserts from Don Pan last night. Cheese ckae, chocolate cake and a fruity cake of some sort. Im sorry to say these fell far below our expectations. The cheese cake had almost no flavor of any sort. The fruity cake was very bland and not fruity at all. The only one that was edible was the chocolate cake, and that was just OK at best.

I used to love the Don Pan in CW and the one in South Tampa rarely disappoints me but this one in Wesley Chapel is constantly a downer. The last 4 times I've come to this location they've been out of something I've tried to order. Usually they are out of the shredded beef or chicken and I try to look past it and just get an Arepa. Well today was the THIRD time in a row that they have been our of Arepa's. I was there early in the day and ordered one and paid, even managed to sit down to wait for the item but then he came to me and said "we are out" and suggested the other corn cake (it begins with a C) and I declined and asked for a refund. I've officially given up on this Don Pan location. Their pastry's are also old and stale tasting compared to the South Tampa location. I've officially given up on them.

I've been here twice and the cold desserts always looked great, but tasted stale and plastic tasting. My wife likely got sick from the cheesecake. No dates on any of the items so you don't know how long they've been out or even when they were made. On the plus side the hot pastries have been good. Prob won't go back though, publix is much better for desserts and pastries and in same shopping center.

First time here and the new owner is super friendly. Best Cuban Sandwich I have ever had!! No lie! This place is very clean and service is fast and everything is high in quality. Even the bread on the sandwich is fresh. Loved it! I will be back!

Not pleased at all. The cake was the worse. Very dry, and not flavorful. I bought a groupon for $5 for $10 worth. My cake was $23, and I paid $13. Not good for the quality of the cake. I asked him what the cakes were. This cake had strawberries and he said it was a black forest cake. I even made a joke about it. It was a cake with strawberries. You can get that any where and it would have tasted better. I wish I could have just returned it but I did not have time. $18 for the type of stale cake that it was was not worth it. I have not been here in a while. I use to get the guava and cheese pastries, I have gotten cachalpas which are like corn pockets with pork, and cake before. I guess the quality went down, or maybe it always was like that. I am absolutely turned off. They wanted my money just to get rid of their stale cake. Bleh...sorry. I am a sweets lover too, but I could not eat this.

I came here with a groupon. We had a Cuban, coffee, and assorted desserts. The Cuban was surprisingly decent, but I think that may be driven mostly by the good quality Cuban bread. They had quite a variety of opera slice-esque desserts that were super rich with subtle flavors. I would advise only getting one, as they fill you up pretty quickly.

This place is hidden amongst all of the other stores. I only went here because I went to Office Depot next door and thought I would stop in. It was about 2 pm when I went and there wasnt much to choose from. This is a predominately Cuban Bakery. I was hoping they might have some Mexican pan dulce but they had nothing. I ended up getting 2 of the fruit tarts to take home. At $2 each, I thought they were a good deal. My fruit tart was gross. I didnt even finish eating it. The fruit on top was old and the strawberry still had the green stem on; I dont want to eat that! The crust was good, toasted well with a nice crispness. What made me hate this fruit tart was the filling. Ugh ... so yucky. It supposed to be like a nice creamy vanilla almost pudding. (I've had fruit tarts before). But this was very dense and just had a weird taste; so unappetizing. I will definitely not be going here again.

Yuck. Although I ate here before it was under new managment- hopefully its better for their sake but when when my husband and I tried this place when it first opened up it looked pretty pathetic. The store had a few but nicely decorated cakes which i dont think are often bought considering publix is in the same complex. Also my husband and I ordered some breakfast and lunch pastries and a smoothie-they left little to be desired. Definetly not worth the calories or the $ spent when publix is few steps away and offers quality items. Will not be returning to this one or any other Don Pan's
